Fox picks up two more Simpsons seasons
According to Variety, Fox Network has picked up two more seasons of it’s hugely popular animated sitcom, The Simpsons. This action will drive the show into it’s 22nd season, making it TV’s longest-running prime time entertainment series. The 44-segment renewal will boost the show’s episode count to a staggering number of 493. |

Warner Bros acquires rights to Lonely Dog
Variety reports that Warner Bros. has acquired screen rights to The Lonely Dog, a limited-edition book of paintings done by Queenstown artist Ivan Clarke. Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster will produce the CG animated dog tale through Goldsman’s WB based Weed Road banner. |
