Lebanon to screen Persepolis

Variety reports that the authorities in Lebanon have lifted the ban on the Academy award nominated film Persepolis. Based on Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel about growing up during the 1979 Iranian revolution, Persepolis will open on one screen April 9 with hopes to expand if reaction is positive.
