MTV Movie News counts down its ten most anticipated animated films of 2007, with Brad Bird’s latest Pixar project, Ratatouille, topping the list. Shrek the Third comes in second place, while The Simpsons Movie lands in the third position.

Producers Guild announces animation nominees

The Producers Guild of America has announced its nominees for “Animated theatrical motion pictures.” Competing for the honor will be Cars, Flushed Away, Happy Feet, Ice Age: The Meltdown and Monster House. Continuing a tradition since 1990, the Producers Guild of America will hand out its awards on January 20.
