AWN reports that Flash animation found on the official website of the 2012 London Olympics has been removed after reports came in that it was causing epileptic seizures. The animation was also broadcast on television, which caused some TV viewers to have seizures as well. Some say the animation of the Olympic logo, which has caused controversy of its own, was part of the problem. However a London Olympic spokeswoman claimed the problematic animation was a five second segment including a diver. She added, “We have taken immediate steps to remove the animation from our website while checks are being conducted. The concerns are not about the design of the London 2012 logo.”
