The Universal Pictures website now lists the release date for Curious George as February 10, 2006, which falls on a Friday. The traditionally animated adaptation of the popular book series was previously slated to open on November 4, 2005.

Sony Gets Nasty

According to Done Deal’s Script Sales page, Sony has tapped Don D. Scott (Barbershop) to pen a CGI film called Big Nasty, which is described as a sci-fi musical set in outer space. Scott will produce the film as well via his The Bridge production company along with Live Planet’s Sean Bailey.
