Disney, Pixar end Annie boycott

TheWrap.com is reporting that its sources are saying Disney and Pixar are ending their boycott of the Annie Awards. The studios dropped out about a year ago over judging criteria concerns. Since then ASIFA Hollywood has shaken up its management, revised the voting structure of the Annies, and established a multi-studio advisory board.

Wreck-It-Ralph logo revealed

During day two of D23 Expo, John Lasseter revealed the logo and 4 minutes of footage from Disney’s 52nd animated feature film Wreck-It-Ralph. The film is scheduled for a November 2012 release and is directed by Rich Moore. View a larger version of the logo here:

New Toy Story short

At the D23 Expo that started today in Anaheim CA, it was announced that a new Toy Story short titled Small Fry will premiere before the Muppets movie opening November 23, 2011. The film is directed by Angus MacLane.
