Happy Feet 2 teaser now online

The first teaser for Happy Feet 2 is now available to watch at Apple. Directed by George Miller and featuring the voices of Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Hank Azaria, Alecia Moore (Pink), Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Sofia Vergara, the sequel to 2007 Oscar winner opens in theaters Novemburr 18th, 2011.

Another Muppets trailer

Another new trailer for The Muppets–this time a direct parody of the teaser trailer for The Hangover: Part II, complete with critic quotes–has been posted online on YouTube. The preview marks the second trailer to be released by Disney in only a matter of days. The Muppets opens everywhere this Thanksgiving.

Kung Fu Panda 2 opens

DreamWorks Kung Fu Panda 2 opens today in 3,925 theatres according to Box Office Mojo. The film is doing well with critics, earning a fresh 76% rating so far at Rotten Tomatoes. BoxOffice.com projects a second place finish for the weekend with $90 million.

Another Kung Fu Panda 2 clip

A new Kung Fu Panda 2 film clip featuring Po the panda and Master Shifu has just been revealed online over at Yahoo! Movies. Starring Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman and Gary Oldman, the anticipated sequel to the 2008 hit comes to theaters and IMAX 3D on May 26th.

The Fox and the Hound coming to Blu-ray

Disney has announced that The Fox and the Hound and The Fox and the Hound 2 will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD in a special 30th Anniversary 2-Movie Collection. The all-new digitally restored version of the original 1981 film and its 2006 direct-to-video sequel arrive in stores on August 9, 2011.

Rango coming to Blu-Ray and DVD in July

Paramount’s critically acclaimed animated feature Rango arrives on Blu-Ray and DVD on July 15th, ComingSoon.net is reporting. Extras on the release will include an extended version of the film with an alternate ending, deleted scenes, audio commentary and more. Released in theaters this March, Rango was a decent hit, earning $120 million in the US.
