Upcoming Pixar announces that according to Buena Vista International, a new preview for Disney/Pixar’s WALL-E will premiere online here, on Tuesday, October 2nd. In the meantime, the site showcases the teaser poster for the movie, featuring the title character gazing up at the nighttime sky.

Yahoo! Finance has the DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. press announcement that Tom Freston has been elected to the company’s Board of Directors. Freston most recently acted as President and CEO of Viacom, in a period that lasted from January to September 2006.

Casseus joins G-Force

Variety reveals that Gabriel Casseus (Black Hawk Down) has joined the cast of Walt Disney Pictures’ G-Force. In the live-action/CGI family adventure, the actor will play “an NSA agent tracking a group of genetically enhanced animal commandos.” Directed by Hoyt Yeatman and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, G-Force will hit theaters on May 1, 2009.

Dini to pen Gatchaman

IGN Movies indicates that Paul Dini will collaborate on the screenplay for Imagi Animation Studios’ computer animated feature Gatchaman. Directed by Kevin Munroe, the film is scheduled to hit theaters in 2009.
