walle-int-ts-sm.jpgA quick end of week message to point out my mid-week posted review for the 1925 and 1960 versions of The Lost World, a great little package that is well worth picking up for those curious enough to see the near-birth of animated dinosaurs in feature films but who don’t want to shell out for Image Entertainment’s alternate disc. This Fox edition, at under $15 online, is terrific value considering you get two features, including the legendary Irwin Allen’s campy, fun remake, and a handful of decent extras.

Also today I wanted to leave you with a peek at the new international one-sheet for Disney/Pixar’s upcoming WALL-E. For me the wide open Japanese-style eyes are a little too big (Shrek‘s Puss In Boots comes to mind) and I think I would have preferred the Nemo strapline across the top (it’s all a bit bottom heavy), but on the pluses the tone is very quirky and magical, reminiscent of ET: The Extra Terrestrial, which is sure to help its box-office aspirations.

The Upcoming Pixar site also has details on when the new trailer will hit the web on October 1/2 next week!

Click on the “More” link for a bigger version of the WALL-E poster, and have a great weekend – Ben.
