Chronicles of Narnia to open two weeks earlier

IGN FilmForce reports that Walt Disney Pictures has moved The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe two weeks sooner, thus setting the film’s release date at December 9, 2005. This move will help Narnia avoid competition from Peter Jackson’s King Kong remake, opening December 14, 2005.
