Well, I’m a happy camper! Despite the hoo-hah and mix up over at Warner Brothers Home Entertainment and the “issues” surrounding their Superman: Ultimate Collector’s Edition megaset, the company has done well to handle the situation and this past weekend I was able to sit down and enjoy the set as it was intended, with all the correct audio and bonus features present and correct on the affected discs. And to hear the first Superman again, with its original soundtrack, and to witness the producers of Superman III defending (and pointing out the mistakes!) in their movie, was well worth the effort. Well done Warners, and look for our full coverage of the set soon(ish)!

Lastly today – yep, it’s a short one – I’m just prepping my review for Cinderella III which should be up either later this evening or first thing tomorrow morning. In the meantime, let’s just say that despite a very lacklustre first half, it’s ultimately down to whether you can stomach these direct-to-DVD spin-offs, and I did find myself quite enjoying the climax. A rental is a recommend, though if you’re ready to buy right now, Josh has some DVD Deals for you on the title, which just hit stores. As I say, look for my full take real soon.

Talking of reviews, Randall has posted another couple of archival pieces, for the original release of Broken Saints, and the complete seasons one and two of Danger Mouse. Ahh, that brings back memories!
