According to Box Office Mojo, Brother Bear brought in $18,540,000 for the two-day nation-wide release this weekend, which averages to $6,118 per screen. The latest traditionally animated film from Disney placed second behind Miramax’s Scary Movie 3.

According to Movie Zone, Brother Bear opened on Saturday with an impressive $11.155 million, making its total box office gross nearly $12 million, including last weekend’s opening in select cities.
