New SpongeBob television movie

Nickelodeon will be airing a third television movie for its popular animated series, SpongeBob SquarePants, this Friday, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the show. The movie, called SpongeBob’s Truth or Square, will contain flashbacks from the characters’ pasts. Nick will release the movie to DVD on November 10th, four days after the network premiere.

Variety reports that 20th Century Fox’s three-quel Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs has become the highest-grossing animated film ever overseas, with a gross of $551.4 million through last Sunday. The previous record holder Pixar’s Finding Nemo had grossed $524.9 million internationally in its 2003 release.
