According to the Hollywood Reporter, Marvel vice chairman Peter Cuneo said on Tuesday that Marvel Enterprises has met with Pixar — and nearly every producer — concerning bringing more of its comic book characters to filmed entertainment. While Speaking at Emerald Asset Management’s 11th annual Groundhog Day Investment Forum in Philadelphia, Cuneo said, “Pixar has an incredible record. We’re seven for seven right now. As long as we continue to make good films, we’ll be successful. It has nothing to do with the genre wearing out.” However, Cuneo said it was too early to tell if Pixar might team up with Marvel. “Pixar until very recently has been committed to creating their own characters,” Cuneo said. “Will their strategy change now? I don’t know. It’s possible.”
