As was previously reported, The Wild Life didn’t exactly get off to a strong start, opening to a weekend of $3.4 million, Box Office Mojo is reporting. It was one of the worst debuts for an animated movie in wide release of all time, “behind” only Delgo, All Dogs Go to Heaven 2, and Disney’s Teacher’s Pet. The only good news for the movie is that it faces no new competition for the family market until Storks opens later in the month. In other news, Pete’ Dragon now has an alright total of $70 million, while Sausage Party has a shot at going past the $100 million mark with a current take of $93 million. Final figures are due tomorrow.
