Reuters/Yahoo! News writes that despite a Palestinian government request to shelve the program, Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV still scheduled Tomorrow’s Pioneers to air today. The show features a Mickey Mouse lookalike named Farfur, who “calls for Israel to be vanquished and Islam to ‘lead the world.'” While The Walt Disney Co. has declined to comment on Pioneers and its Mickey-inspired star, New York Daily News reports that Diane Disney Miller is speaking out against the show.
