TV Shows on DVD tells 1,000 people that Gargoyles is on DVD – and then suggests that everyone else tell 1,000 people the news as well. This action is the result of Greg Weisman’s words at Comic-Con 2006, asking fans of the show to spread the word that Gargoyles – Season 1 and Season 2, Part 1 are available to own on DVD. Hopefully, this maneuver will increase sales of the DVD sets. Otherwise, Gargoyles – Season 2, Part 2 may never see the light of day.

In other DVD news, Thundercats – Season 2, Volume 2 is hitting stores on November 28th, containing the series’ final 31 episodes. The 6-disc set will also feature a Thundercats Ultimate Adventure game. High-res artwork for the package is showcased at DVD Active. Likewise, Muppet Central has the specs for Fraggle Rock – The Complete Second Season, which will present a replica of the original pitch book by Jim Henson and illustrated by Michael K. Frith, interviews, and a special tribute for Fraggle Rock co-creator Jerry Juhl.
