After the success that Disney’s found with their traditionally animated TV series Jake and the Never Land Pirates on Disney Channel this year, it only makes sense that they’d want to repeat the formula with a different theme. CinemaBlend is reporting that Disney has a princess show in production, featuring a brand new character, Sofia, who is a little kid. She’ll be introduced in a movie before the series is launched on television later on. Disney, of course, makes billions of dollars off of their Princess merchandise, so it seems very likely that Sofia dolls will be seen on store shelves sometime in the near future.
