Disney’s Zootopia opens today, in 3,827 theatres according to Box Office Mojo. The film is holding a perfect 100% from Rotten Tomatoes, though a large number of the posted reviews seem to be rating the moral as much as the movie. Their consensus: “The brilliantly well-rounded Zootopia offers a thoughtful, inclusive message that’s as rich and timely as its sumptuously state-of-the-art animation — all while remaining fast and funny enough to keep younger viewers entertained”. BOM projects an easy first place weekend win for the film with $72.7 million.
