Storks didn’t quite deliver on expectations at the box office, making about $10 million less than tracking was projecting, Box Office Mojo is reporting. Still, the comedy did have a solid debut of $21 million, which was good for second place. The great news for Storks is it got an “A-” CinemaScore from audiences, and faces no other animated movies for competition until Trolls opens on November 4th. Meanwhile, Suicide Squad is remaining extremely leggy, and now has a total gross of $318 million. Finally, Kubo and the Two Strings enjoyed one last weekend in the top ten, and has made $45 million to date against a $60 million budget. Final figures are due today.
