DreamWorks Animation announced several release dates for their upcoming film slate today, ComingSoon.net tells us. First up is the news that Captain Underpants will become the first film from the studio to have a January opening, coming out on January 13th, 2017. Two months after that, they will release the long-in-development Mumbai Musical on March 1oth, 2017. Near the end of the year, The Croods 2 will hit theaters on Novmeber 3rd, 2017. 2018 will see the Outback-set “musical project” Larrikins on February 16th, followed by the just announced Madagascar 4 on May 18th. Finally, Puss in Boots 2: Nine Lives and 40 Thieves will close out the year on November 2nd, 2018. All release dates, of course, are subject to change.
