With his Hotel Transylvania finally hitting store shelves this week, director Genndy Tartakovsky is talking ET Online about his next project: a 3D film adaptation of the classic cartoon series Popeye. “Basically it’s kind of taking the Popeye that I grew up with, that I think we all grew up with, and definitely making him contemporary — but still retaining everything that we loved about him from the past”. Look for the film in theatres on September 26, 2014, according to Box Office Mojo.
