SpongeBob SquarePants is set go where he’s never gone before: Into the world of stop-motion. Nick has just announced that they will be making a stop-motion Christmas special starring the cable network’s most popular character, the first time that the show has ever been animated in a form other than traditional animation. It will also mark SpongeBob’s first holiday special in more than ten years. It is set to air this November.
