The film is getting good reviews from the critics, scoring a solid 83% at Rotten Tomatoes. The critical consensus is that “The warmth of traditional Disney animation makes this occasionally lightweight fairy-tale update a lively and captivating confection for the holidays”. Box Office Prophets predicts a first place weekend with $31.4 million.
