In addition to the previously mentioned Merry Madagascar, airing November 17th on NBC, at least two more new animated holiday specials will premiere this season. Disney will bring Prep & Landing to ABC this December 1st. “The half-hour holiday special reveals the never-before-told tale of an elite unit of Elves known as Prep & Landing. Every Christmas Eve, this high-tech organization ensures that homes around the world are properly prepared for a visit from the Big Guy”. A trailer is available on the show’s website. CBS will air Yes, Virginia on December 11th. Animation Magazine reports that the story is about eight-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon who “had always loved Christmas until the playground bully, Charlotte, tells her and the other children that Santa Claus doesn’t exist. Not sure what to believe, Virginia and her friend, Ollie, venture into the streets of New York City to uncover the truth”.
