I’ve found myself in a bit of a review drive over the weekend and should be posting a handful of new comments on recent titles over the next week or so. In the meantime, today’s post is just a short one to point you in the direction, if you’re so inclined, of Rand’s take on He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe: Volume Three, the last of BCI’s boxed sets to feature the more recent 2000s version of the animated toy line. Despite remarking that getting through all the episodes of this younger-aimed show “may be a bit of a slog for more sophisticated viewers or those that have no special fondness for 1980s series”, the quality of the extras and packaging leaves our man impressed: “This has got to be one of the more handsome sets I have seen; the packaging and special features go above and beyond. I sure have no complaints about the video, we get the full 16:9 picture in all its anamorphically enhanced glory. While a few of BCI’s recent releases have been less spectacular than they had started out, they recapture glory with their three volumes of the 21st century He-Man“.
Stay tooned! – Ben.
