A real quick one to take us into the weekend, with a brief note to point out two new review additions, for the two volumes of cartoons from the Tom & Jerry Tales series. Our “guest reviewer” Roberta E Norman sat down with our favorite cat and mouse for some updated animated antics courtesy of Volume 1, from the tail end (sorry!) of last year, and the more recent release of a second volume earlier this year. With each disc collecting 12 episodes, Roberta doesn’t find the cartoons too offensive though unsurprisingly says they can not compare to Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera’s original MGM classics, of course. Our thanks go to Roberta for taking the time out to give us her animated views on both the first disc and Volume 2 of Tom & Jerry Tales!
