Morning folks!

You might have noticed our alternating banners above? One of them still leads to our exclusive chat with Disney animators Andreas Deja and Mark Henn on the return of Goofy to theaters in a brand new short – the first of many we hope – coming out later in the year, titled How To Hook Up Your Home Theater.

The other banner heads off in a new direction: we’re on the hunt for fresh faces to both Animated News and Animated Views. It’s no secret that adding content everyday can be a heavy chore when battling with the rest of the world’s “real life” situations and, while we’d love to keep things coming thick ‘n’ fast, the simple fact is we need more contributors. So, we’re recruiting!

What’s neat about our offer is that all of our posts can be tailored to the amount of time you can spend with us, and we’re not against the odd one-off submission either. So if you’ve got an itching to write about specific areas of animation, or been thinking about setting up your own site but can’t dedicate the time, money and energy that needs, a spot right here could fulfill those needs. You’d be joining a friendly family of top-notch writers all as enthusiastic about the medium as you are, and since we’re looking for everyone from those who can spend just a few minutes each day to “full-timers” providing a steady stream of content, there’s sure to be somewhere to fit right in.

Anyway…enough of my yakkin’. Head on down to our “employment agency” and see if being anything from News Gatherer to a Reviewer appeals…
