Just a quick update this morning while I work away at getting that Woody Woodpecker Collection review up for you. It’s quite a set and you’ll see why exploring it has taken me so long when you read the review (in short: I’m coming to most of these cartoons for the first time and didn’t want to just skimp through them).

In the meantime, we’ve something else pretty cool for you this new week: an interview with Pixar’s Enrico Casarosa, from Jeremie Noyer’s Media Magic site, that delves into this artist’s many extra-work activities as well as what it was like storyboarding Ratatouille. There’s a hint of what it was like working under two alternate directors and their different working methods, as well as a few instances of what was changed between Jan Pinkava and Brad Bird’s takes on the same material. It’s an interesting read and you can find that right here!

Don’t forget our second Casper Contest, which ends tomorrow night, so get those entries submitted, and we will have more reviews and updates for you shortly – stay tooned!
