STARZ KIDS & FAMILY AND TIME WARNER CABLE NORTH TEXAS PRESENT THE PREMIERE SCREENING OF ELOISE IN HOLLYWOOD

Mary Matilyn Mouser, the Voice of Eloise,
Guest of Honor at Jan. 20 Screening at the Teen & KidFilm Festival in Dallas

Irving, Texas, Jan. 16, 2007 – Starz Kids & Family and Time Warner Cable will present Eloise in Hollywood at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Teen & KidFilm Festival in Dallas. Mary Matilyn Mouser, the voice of Starz Kids & Family’s new exclusive Eloise series, will be the special guest of honor. On Jan. 20 and 21, 2007, the USA Film Festival will present the 23rd Annual Teen & KidFilm Festival, the oldest and largest children’s film festival in the United States. The festival will feature a diverse line-up of programs that appeal to audiences of all ages. Tickets are $3 (per program) for children and adults and are available at the AMC NorthPark 15 lobby sales table beginning at noon each day for that day’s shows only.

The magic of Kay Thompson’s storytelling and Hilary Knight’s breathtaking illustrations come to life in the Eloise series and DVDs, the first-ever animated series based on the classic children’s books.

Produced by Film Roman, a Starz Media company, in association with Handmade Films, Eloise features the star-studded voice talent of two-time Oscar©-nominee Lynn Redgrave, Tim Curry, Matthew Lillard, Curtis Armstrong, and young actress Mary Matilyn Mouser as Eloise. Wes Archer (Supervising director of The Simpsons and King of the Hill) directs.

In Eloise in Hollywood, Eloise’s mother can’t make it home to The Plaza so she sends Eloise and Nanny on an exciting trip to Hollywood to visit a movie set. When spoiled child star Debbie Dunbar is fired from her film, Eloise ends up with the starring role but soon decides the movie business is definitely not for her. Will Eloise pass up her chance at stardom and return to The Plaza and the life she adores? Voiceover guest stars include Cynthia Nixon, Lacey Chabert, Alan Cummings and Nestor Carbonell.

We are excited to present ‘Eloise in Hollywood’ as a part of the Teen & KidFilm Festival, said Ann Alexander, managing director of KidFilm / USA Film Festival, Dallas. As an added bonus we look forward to introducing our audiences to the voice of Eloise herself, Mary Matilyn Mouser.

An Arkansas native, Mary started her career at the age of six when she was chosen as a photo-double for Mel Gibson’s daughter in Signs. Mary has done voice work for many animated features such as Bambi 2, Tarzan 2, Pompoko, and The Fox and the Hound 2. She has also appeared in guest starring roles on CSI, Without a Trace, King of Queens, Monk, Inconceivable, Scrubs, One Life to Live, and currently has a recurring role on NCIS as Mark Harmon’s daughter. At the recent Best of Fest Awards at the KIDS FIRST! Film and Video Festival, Mary received the Outstanding Performance Award for her voiceover work in Eloise.

Eloise airs exclusively on Starz Kids & Family and is also available to download on Vongo, the video download service. Visit www.starz.com for additional scheduling information.

Starz Home Entertainment will release Eloise in Hollywood in stores across the nation on Tuesday, March 13 (pre-order date Wednesday, Jan. 31). The first two Eloise titles, Me, Eloise and Eloise: Little Miss Christmas, were released on DVD in October, 2006.

In October, 2006, Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing, a CBS Company, published Eloise in Hollywood, the latest hardcover picture book featuring the classic character created by Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight. With over 4.5 million Eloise books sold, Simon & Schuster also expanded Eloise’s reach in October, 2006 with a line of paperback early readers, including Merry Christmas, Eloise and Eloise and the Secret Room.
