MSNBC reports that Fox has greenlit two more seasons of The Simpsons, putting the show on the air through 2008 and bringing the number of series up to 19 and making it the longest-running entertainment primetime series on the air. Fox’s other popular animated comedy, King Of The Hill, will also return in January 2007.
