In preparation for a retrospective screening of his work at the Northwest Film Center’s Whitsell Auditorium last Wednesday, Henry Selick was interviewed by The Oregonian. Topics the director discussed include computer animation and his stop-motion influences, as well as such films as Coraline, Moongirl and the upcoming 3-D version of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
