Weinstein Co., Blockbuster reach rental deal

For the next four years, Blockbuster will have exclusive rights on all future theatrical and made-for-DVD movies from The Weinstein Company. Based in the United States, the deal allows the rental chain to be the sole provider of the studio’s upcoming titles, including the computer-animated Arthur and the Invisibles. AOL Music allows visitors to legally hear the complete Flushed Away soundtrack, for free. The album contains tracks from such artists as Tom Jones, Billy Idol and Jet. Likewise, the soundtrack offers a healthy dose of some loveable, singing slugs, featured in such songs as “Mr. Lonely” and “Don’t Worry Be Happy.”
