Cartoon Network gets more Fantastic

Cartoon Network has obtained the television rights to air the upcoming half-hour Fantastic Four animated series. From Marvel Studios and the France-based animation company Moonscoop, the weekly series has set its target audience to ages 6 – 11 years old, with 26 episodes having been commissioned. Gathering information through close sources wishing to remain anonymous, The Business of Animation blog suggests that many of Disney’s development executives are no longer working at the company. “I’m waiting to hear it for myself from someone more direct. However, this wouldn’t surprise me in the least,” writes the blog’s manager, ‘Staloren’.
