Aeon Flux, the live action feature film based on the MTV animated series, came in second at the box office in its opening weekend according to Box Office Mojo. It’s $13.1 million was at the “high end of low expectations”. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire stayed in the top spot, making it the first film of the year to spend three weeks at #1. It made $20.5 million this weekend for a $230 million total in the 17 days since it opened. Adding in the $330 million the latest Potter has earned overseas, the film has made over half a billion dollars.
