IGN FilmForce reviews the Aladdin Platinum Edition DVD. Giving the movie itself a score of 8/10, the website remarks, “All the usual Disney elements are there, but it’s just one step short of being truly great.” Nonetheless, IGN gives high marks to the other sections of the DVD, rewarding the video a score of 10/10, the audio a score of 9/10, and the bonus features a score of 10/10, noting that the latter contains an “excellent documentary, much better than The Lion King’s collection.” The Aladdin Platinum Edition DVD will be released on October 5, 2004.
