The UK’s Guardian online has reprinted an interview with DreamWorks’ Jeffrey Katzenberg by my old pal Jason Solomons from The Observer newspaper. The studio head, currently riding high with Shrek 2, talks about forming a partnership with Spielberg and Geffen, his time with the Mouse House, the move from hand drawn to CG, as well as his religion and hopes for the future (hinting that he’d like to form a partnership with Pixar). Despite a couple of inaccuracies, it’s an interesting read, and the closest Katzenberg has been to opening up since his split from Disney ten years ago.
