Pentamedia Graphics’ Pandavas – The Five Warriors, the first full-length 3D computer animated film to be created and produced in India, will be released on DVD and VHS in North America by Eagle One Media on April 20, 2004. Pandavas – The Five Warriors is “based on the classic Indian tale from one of India’s greatest epics, the Mahabharata. The story depicts the eternal fight between good and evil through the tale of the five Pandava brothers and their struggles with their cousins, the Kauravas”. The film was the winner of the prestigious Best English Feature Film Award at the 2001 Indian National Film Awards and Second Best Animated Feature Film winner at the 2001 Vancouver Effects and Animation Festival. Included on the DVD will be the film, playable in English, Hindi, and Tamil languages, the film trailer, and various photos.
