The Hollywood Reporter reports that the WB Network has greenlit Green Screen, a live-action/animated improv comedy pilot from Drew Carey. In Green Screen, the cast will perform – in front of a green screen – several improv games that will involve the audience’s suggestions for topics and settings. Those audience suggestions will then, in post-production, be inserted onto the green screen, using different animation styles. The cast of Green Screen includes Whose Line Is It Anyway? and The Drew Carey Show alumni Colin Mochrie, Kathy Kinney, Brad Sherwood, Jeff Davis, Charles Esten, Jonathan Mangum, Greg Proops, and Sean Masterson. Ryan Stiles will guest star in the show’s pilot.
