Sony’s Astroboy property has been slated to be turned into a big screen theatrical adventure, reports Dark Horizons, from an original Variety article. Samurai Jack and Dexter’s Laboratory creator Genndy Tartakovsky (also of Star Wars: Clone Wars) is down to write and direct, with Don Murphy producing with Lisa Henson and Kristine Belson of Jim Henson Pictures. Sony’s Columbia will distribute.
