Playbill reports that a musical based on the classic cartoon character Betty Boop is in the works. David Lindsay-Abaire will write the book while Jason Robert Brown will compose. The two “have previously worked together on Lindsay-Abaire’s plays (Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo)”. Robyn Goodman is the producer.
