Re: Garfield

Not a million miles away from Eartha Kitt… Maybe he’s still trying to iron out those Groove kinks himself? ;)

That "I'm back" hook is ripped right out of Bondie's Call Me, though…

Re: Moana

Yah, yah, ve know zis! ;)

It doesn’t *look* like television. The original was in a 'Scope widescreen ratio, and it would have been nice (and no reason not to) have this in the same ratio, which would make it feel more like a movie than the streaming compilation it started as. :)

Re: YouTube Goodness

But…weirdly still don’t sound like them…more like a hybrid between the movie and cartoon casts…?

Re: Moana

What is it with "grown up" CG characters that just feels a little weird!? Moana looks better in motion, though, and the animation looks on par with "real" feature quality. Hate the streaming 2:1, lack of 'Scope widescreen ratio, though. Looks more TV than movie. And if ever there was an argument for...

Re: Kung Fu Panda

Yeah, we loved the first one, thought the second struggled, and although I’ve had the disc since it came out, never got around to the third. All three played on TV here when the fourth came out, so even though I have nice discs, I recorded them all and will likely end up catching up on them again vi...

Re: Ryans world animated & live movie coming to the big-screen

Um…okay, Dace. Keep takin' the pills, son! ;) Technically, he’s in a Saturday morning cartoon and not a comic book, but… Obviously I’m not the audience for this, but I can appreciate what they’ve done in jumping on a popular thing and turning out a quick and cheap product that’s just what the people...

Re: Disney's Hercules (Live-Action)

I actually heard about two months ago that this was deaded. Maybe they needed a break to come back and try again, but it was definitely scrapped at some point recently…

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

Very, very sad to see this on Sky this morning, but did have to keep shouting out that Chitty is NOT a Disney film! ;) Ironically, we picked The Slipper And The Rose to show for our Wednesday movie night this week, and I wrote my email blurb yesterday afternoon and showed the trailer last night. Wok...

Re: Disney Movie Rewards

I would suspect that quite a few other people are not fans of the bilingual packaging and so held off using points to get those versions and just bought them elsewhere, hence Disney ending up with surplus stock on those. They’re silly not to have discounted them to a lower number, though, as that mi...
