Tradition Studios, owned by Digital Domain Media Group, announced their first feature film: The Legend of Tembo. Not much has been revealed about the story other than that it is about a baby elephant separated from his family and sent to India. Chuck Williams and Aaron Blaise are on the roister to direct. Blaise co-directed Brother Bear and was a supervising animator on several Disney movies. The film will run at 85 minutes and is slated to be a family film. Digital Domain was founded in 1993 by James Cameron and is partially owned by Michael Bay. They have provided the visual affects for many features including Tron: Legacy, Thor, and The Smurfs.
