Gromit listens to an old gramophone, in HMV's popular logo.Times Online indicates that Gromit of the famous Wallace & Gromit duo has landed a new job, this time for His Master’s Voice (HMV), the world’s biggest chain of record stores. Replacing Nipper, Gromit will now be the curious canine seen listening to old gramophone in the company’s iconic image. As of right now, the period for this promotion will last three months. Nonetheless, Gennaro Castaldo, HMV’s spokesman, comments, “…I imagine it’s very likely that we’ll be discussing an extension of this and other ways that we can work together in the future.”

Update! The official site of HMV features the Gromit logo with a refined setting. Concurrently, a large image similar to the one displayed to the right is now available via BBC News.
