DreamWorks sells stake in animated studio Paprikaas

According to Variety, Technicolor has purchased the stake previously owned by Dreamworks in the India-based animation house, Paprikaas. The move has given Technicolor complete ownership of the studio responsible for Merry Madagascar and The Penguins of Madagascar, with the company planning on expanding Paprikaas’ specialty beyond animation into visual effects, compression and authoring.
