Ultimate Disney is now displaying the artwork for the upcoming Lion King Movie Collection boxed set. The collection will include all six discs from the recent Special Edition releases of Disney’s animated classic The Lion King, The Lion King 1½, and The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride, and will be available on December 7.

Animation legend Floyd Norman has contributed a new article to Jim Hill Media detailing his thoughts and concerns on the recent dumping by Disney of Mickey, Donald, and Goofy: The Three Musketeers into direct-to-video status rather than first giving it the proper theatrical release it deserved.

For those who enjoy watching movies the real way (in a theater) Disney will have screenings of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas from October 28-31 at its own El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
