According to TV Barn Ticker, the entertainment news shows Extra has learned that NBC plans to place the Siegfried & Roy-based animated series Father of the Pride in the empty timeslot that Friends used to have. In fact, sources tell Extra that Father of the Pride is NBC’s top contender for their Thursday night line-up. However, an NBC spokesperson reveals to Extra that the network brass are “thrilled with Father of the Pride but no formal decisions have been made for the fall schedule.”
