Only days ago was it revealed that The Simpsons was at risk of being cancelled this season if the voice actors and the studio could not come to an agreement over salaries. But even if that were to happen (and it’s expected to), the end would still be coming to Springfield. Screen Rant is reporting that if a 24th season is to be made, then it will be the last Simpsons season ever. As sad as that may be to some fans, it would still be more pleasing than the alternative, which would see The Simpsons ending abruptly this season without any special final episodes being made. The cast of the show apparently has until Friday to make a deal with FOX over the conflict.
