USA Today has an exclusive first look at Warner Brothers’ upcoming animated movie Legend of the Guardians (not to be confused with The Guardians, a DreamWorks Animation movie currently in production). From director Zack Snyder of 300 and Watchmen fame, the movie centers around a young barn owl who is kidnapped by a sinister orphanage that transforms its residents into soldiers. Their plan: To wage war against the wise, peace loving owls of Ga’Hoole. Based on a popular series of young adult books, and featuring the voices of Jim Sturgess, Hugo Weaving and Geoferry Rush, Legend of the Guardians is set to take flight in theaters and IMAX 3D on September 24th.
