According to Variety, Disney is planning to release a sequel to their hit comedy Enchanted as early as next year. The original film, which opened in 2007, went on to gross $340 million worldwide before ending its theatrical run. Currently, Jessie Nelson is set to pen the script for the sequel, with The Proposal director Anne Fletcher attached to direct. Returning as producers are Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld.
